ABC’s Earth 2100

I recently saw the ABC special Earth 2100 and found it to be a very intriguing piece. In the special report, ABC’s Bob Woodruff leads us through the life of a child born today. We learn what experts feel the future might hold for the planet over the next 90 years. A sort of worst case scenario, the story does a great job of connecting issues in our current world with potential catastrophes of the future. While ABC doesn’t claim that this future is necessarily the one that will come to pass, they do warn that the economic and social problems that are inherent in our system could lead to total collapse.
